The Little Way Virtue Program is a Catholic virtue learning program for children K- 5th grade, created by Behold Publications and inspired by the spirituality of St Therese of Lisieux and pedagogy of St John Bosco.
The Little Way of Virtue Program is comprehensive in its material, spanning the nine months of the school year with daily 10 minute activities about virtue.
Curriculum: Each month, The Little Way Virtue Program focuses on one virtue that is reinforced by getting to know one saint of the month and a scripture passage. The program is made up of twenty short 10 minute daily activities for each month. The activities use different teaching dynamics to reinforce virtue such as games, memorization, coloring, crafts, role playing, group and personal reflection. There is a symbol for each month to help the children identify the virtue. Each saint of the month has a pet as well. Each month has a distinct color to help identify the activities for that month. The Little Way uses cartoons and animals to reach the students’ minds in an attractive and memorable way.
Materials: The Little Way Leader Guide and Curriculum helps the teacher or educator lead the class on this journey of virtue each day. The Little Way Student Guide is a full color workbook with the daily activities for the students. The progress poster and stamp for the teacher to motivate the students each week.

Was looking for a Catholic alternative to Kids of Integrity Virtue Program by Focus on the Family. This is well done. Lessons can often be done in less than 10 minutes. We have done an art project in the style of Little Holy Hearts to go with each saint. It would be easy to cover the week’s work in less than an hour if you are a homeschooling family. I often read the parent/ teacher information to the kids because they can handle the theology. The teachers manual is not full color if you are a visual learner. The kids packet is colorful but uses glossy pages which is harder for colored pencils. My kids love the lessons and it starts our day off well. We extend the lesson by reading some in Proverbs or a Parable. We also pray a Morning Offering and this makes for a nice 20-30 minute devotional with the Lord before school!
